If you are sensitive to energy which many of us are then you will know how self-care is so important and there is no more important job than keeping your Chakras open.  Blocked Chakras can cause ill health but most of us will go running to the Doctors and then go back saying these tablets are giving side effects so they try some more and then you go back again as the symptoms don't stay away, the number of times I hear "the Doctors don't understand me" but that isn't true they excel in what they do but they don't understand about Chakras and just how powerful Chakras are in our bodies, I apologise to any Doctors that have stumbled here and know all about Chakras!  hopefully, by the end of this page, you (the reader) will understand a little bit more to try to do a bit of self-care on yourself too.

To charge your Chakra crystals place them under running water, sunlight or moonlight before use and I really recommend placing chakra crystals on your chakra points under the sun as it is amazing! 

The root chakra primarily governs the reproductive organs and lower extremities, including the lower spine, legs, and feet. The chakra blockage will often replicate itself manifesting as constipation, kidney stones, circulatory issues, lack of focus, co dependency, weight issues, fatigue, back pain, anxiety, depression, detachment, restlessness and restless legs.

How do we reopen this Chakra?  Well firstly, spend some time placing your crystal on your root Chakra to allow the energy flow through but if you don't have a chakra stone visualise red and dancing is a great way to open up your root chakra. Whether you dance in public or behind closed doors, the key is to let the rhythm guide you. Allowing the body to be free to move uninhibited will dispel negativity, open and balance the first chakra.

The Sacral chakra is associated with our lymphatic system and is associated with the emotional body, creativity and sensuality.  An imbalance can cause over indulgencies (sexual), lack of libido, feeling stuck in a mindset, feeling numb, out of touch with yourself, addictions or being ruled by emotions.

How do we reopen this chakra?  Place your crystal there and visualise orange, however if you don't have a stone then try to be near water, drink water, eat fruits such as melon and add cinnamon in 

The Solar Plexus Chakra is closely connected to the digestive system and your self.  It governs metabolism and is commonly associated with the pancreas.  A blocked chakra can have the following symptoms low self esteem, need to control or feeling useless, being manipulative, lack of direction and drive, lack of purpose, self image, poor eating habits, diabetes, ulcers, asthma,. arthritis, nerve pain & Fibromyalgia, kidney and liver issues

How do we reopen this chakra?  allow the crystal energy to flow through you but if you don't have access to a stone visualise a golden healing flame just below your navel as you breathe deeply, feel the blockage dissolving, strengthen your core with gentle exercises and build up and eat yellow foods.

The heart chakra now this chakra really gets people holding their breath when I work as they feel me unblocking and sending in powerful energy and that is because this is the chakra which is associated with the thymus gland which is responsible for hormone production and important in regulation of the immune system, this chakra is also associated with the cardiac system and the lungs.   Symptoms of a blocked heart chakra vary but are inclusive of being over defensive, feeling closed down, jealousy, fear of intimacy, putting oneself in the role of saviour, anti social, unable to forgive, respiratory ailments, circulation, heart issues, bronchitis, lung conditions, abnormal heart rhythms and heart disease.

How do we unblock this chakra? Use your crystal but if you don't have this then this will seem so easy but when you have spent your life beating yourself up this takes time to achieve! love your body, accept yourself, let go of past hurt and trauma, express gratitude and simplify your life.

The throat chakra is associated with the etheric body.  An imbalance of this chakra can cause lack of control over ones words, inability to listen, fear of talking, unable to hold ones counsel, telling lies, shyness and lack of purpose.  This chakra is linked to the thyroid which regulates the processing of energy, body temperature, growth and in large parts metabolism, causes anxiety, frequent sore throats, dizziness, fatigue, headaches, teeth grinding and anaemia.

How can we unblock this chakra?  Crystal but if you don't have one : Oh this is the most fun at unblocking and I love self help for unblocking this chakra.  SING!!!!!!, cry, drinking water and bring it up and let it go! release it to the universe it is no longer needed! 

OMG I wish everyone would unblock this one!  This chakra is associated with the pituitary gland & neurological function.  A blocked 3rd eye can make you lose sense of direction, lose intuition, lessens your bodies ability to fight infection, regulates sleep, maintains metabolic function, causes high blood pressure, migraines, seizures, poor vision, sciatica, in extreme cases strokes, delusions, depression and paranoia. When you unblock this chakra you let go of EGO.

How do we unblock this chakra?  by stones, energy healing, eating healthily, aromatherapy or meditation

The crown chakra - the gateway to spiritual wisdom.   Symptoms of a blocked crown chakra are loneliness, feeling disconnected, nerve pain, thyroid and pineal gland disorders, neurological disorders, migraines, schizophrenia and delusional disorders, depression, insomnia and Alzheimer's.

How do we unblock this?  crystals , meditation and energy healing and feel the amazing feeling of coming back into balance
